Pennsylvania Turnpike Tolls

We now arrive in the state of Pennsylvania. Our path takes us to 2 separate destinations. The east/west Pennsylvania Turnpike utilizes the first type of Pennsylvania Turnpike toll booth. All stainless steel construction, ceiling mounted air conditioner, decorative stainless steel panels, stainless steel counter and sliding stainless steel doors for toll collection and convenient exit. The other destination is the Northeast extension of the Turnpike which uses a larger, more contemporary booth. A roof mounted air conditioner, anodized aluminum fascia, fiberglass interior ceiling and wall panels and stainless steel counter and drawers covered in the latest mineral counter top material. Either an extend-a-door toll collection or automatic coin collection is utilized. A brick cladding on the exterior of the booth is applied at the site.
